Picnic: NOVA Climate Action & Sierra Club Goup Picnic on July 27  from 1 - 3 PM at 2409 Rocky Branch Road, Vienna, VA. Enjoy a fun and festive potluck picnic in a semi-shaded yard with a native plant garden. Bring a favorite dish to share. Friends and family are welcome. Children are also welcomed--and we will set up the sprinkler, so pack their bathing suits and towels. Also, there will be live music. Let's celebrate our victory and get ready for the next cycle. Offshore Wind Energy Presentation
Virginia has some of the best conditions in the world for an offshore wind farm. A dozen countries in Europe and Asia have offshore wind turbines already, and several states are committed to following suit. This slide show presentation explores the opportunities and barriers to bringing offshore wind to Virginia consumers.
